In the beginning...

Hi everyone! My name is Rae and I'm studying to be a High School Science and Maths teacher...

• Yes... I know it's going to be a challenge, but I'm prepared for it
• No... I don't think increasing student height is a significant factor in my career choice
  
• Yes... I know kids today aren't like they used to be, but that's fair enough because the world today isn't like it used to be

Sorry, I'm anticipating your response. It just seems that whenever I'll tell someone that I want to be a high school teacher they immediately conclude that I'm crazy. I'd love to hear from some other crazies out there - because I love teaching. Moreover, I love that the students aren't the only learners - every single lesson I learn something new.
